Aftermarket RSE questions

The issue w/ tablets is my kids are 2 and 0, and won't be able to control them independently for a long time. My 2-year-old is good at getting around his Kindle Fire but can't reach a tablet on the back of the seat when strapped into a car seat. Plus, I don't really want the kids having access to the entire Internet, I want more control over what they watch. AND we have about 150 kids DVDs that I want to make use of.

What did you end up doing? I’m debating between finding an after market RSE installer or just going the tablet route. I feel like tablet route is probably better since the RSE stuff usually gets outdated quickly.
