Which valve is the one that commonly leaks? From a quick google search I am assuming the valve closer to the passenger side fender?

It is the high side port. Yes, closest to the passenger fender. The low side port is closest to the drier, and isn’t prone to leaking.
Thats what I was hoping you’d say. My truck has a big leak someplace and they replaced this valve with a schrader valve. I am wondering if there’s something wrong with the new valve though because it’s the only place with any of the leak detection dye on it but that could come from filling it.

What brand of replacement did they use? I saw a schrader replacement made by Dorman, but have heard their quality can be hit or miss which is why I decided on another OEM non-schrader valve replacement part.

My AC belt came off for the second time in as many months. I replaced it last time so now I’m doing the tensioner too even though it was replaced a few years ago. Went with AC Delco OE.
If you keep throwing belts, you might want to check pulley alignment with :

My PS pump pulley was a good 1/8" off and kept wearing the edge of the belt.

Thanks. This is just the AC belt though, not the main serpentine. And it just started happening without any other work being done. Kinda weird. I'll see if I can eyeball it when I replace the tensioner or maybe use a straight edge.

I'm sure it'll be a disaster once you get there.
LOL, probably, can't be as bad as one I went and looked at a couple months ago, I asked the lady over the phone about some pictures of the inside and she said why? it's not tore up, hahahaaaa right..... looked like somebody had 6 or 7 little kids and had destroyed the inside with a food fight and busted every switch and handle, ugh

That's actually a good question but I don't know. What brand did you use instead?
