I’m not a Tahoe fan but the thought of an L9H sourced in 2WD in a vehicle that size running on e85 sounds like a lotta fun. Something like a Tahoe grafted onto a Vette special ordered as a Supv pursuit vehicle.

Wasn’t the 4wd Ltz Tahoe’s only available with a 5.3? Only available in the 2wd. Or did it change that year?

There are lots of 5.3 LTZ Tahoes, but less than 700 (that we've seen) with the 6.2 in both 4x4 and RWD, all that we have seen are LTZs. In 2008 there were less than 140 6.2 LTZ Tahoes built and all of them are RWD.

I may finally depart with my ‘09 Tahoe. Bought the wife a Subaru and now it’s my DD. However, I drive it maybe 50 miles a month and it sits in a garage.

it is 2wd, with the L9H. About 115k miles. Two owner. Bought from a GM Exec.

Color is greystone? Black buckets. All the options except fold down steps.

very nice rig to go to someone with the right offer. Couldn’t bring myself to trade it in because the Subaru dealer had no idea what they were looking at.

I’ll post pics and details by Friday.

You're better off selling it to someone for the right price 10/10 times rather than trading it in unless they offered you a good deal for something they really wanna get off the lot.

When I was shopping for my Tahoe, I had come across a ruby red with chrome trim LTZ 6.2 at a used car place. Was pretty clean but had no idea what I was looking at and didn't look further into it. My black LTZ was too good a deal in my mind and now I see the error in my ways. lol
