Looking for 6.2 Tahoe 4WD..

I know someone has posted about this before, I'm out in the lookout for a 09 Tahoe LTZ with the 6.2 engine, hopefully if someone sees one they can send me the link, willing to travel far for one if its the right one

You gotta learn to scan VINs Tony. Some will list the correct engine, many will not. Set up searches for LTZ Tahoe on Autolist, Cars.com, CarGurus, etc. Specify RWD or 4WD or both if that matters to you.

1GNFC332 = RWD 6.2 Tahoe
1GNFK332 = 4WD 6.2 Tahoe

We've been doing the same thing looking for 6.2 GMC Sierra and finally found one in the haystack with all the desired options.

I suspect that the OP will have a challenging time finding one, as I believe that the 6.2 Tahoes are unicorns. Hopefully for the OP's sake, I am wrong.

If @swathdiver says it was available in a 6.2 that year, then it was available with a 6.2 that year. Trust me on this. It may have been a special order only unicorn, but they're out there.

Just like the 1 ton (3500) fleet issue only Suburban. Not the typical 3/4 ton (2500) Suburban or Yukon unicorn, a 1 ton Suburban is the unicorn with wings.

Well after researching I didn’t realize 09 is when they added the option of a 6.2 with 4wd. I would consider trading my 08 in for that.

The L9H is the 6.2, and the 'K' in the bin is for 4X4.
