That's what I'm in as well - 2001 Yukon. The cassette deck finally failed, so I'm looking to buy new. How did you decide between the Z71 and AT4?
Wow! 20 years between vehicles. I bet you can't wait till the 2041 models roll out.

If the cassette deck is in the console below the radio... I have a spare. I pulled mine out last month and replaced it with a little storage bin that's infinitely more worthwhile than being able to place cassettes.
I didn't really weight the AT4. GMC usually runs $5-10k more. A base Z71 is ~$60k and the AT4 is ~$66k. I do think the Z71 is the nicest looking version out of all the GMC and Chevy options.

HA! My wife wishes it was 20 years between vehicles. I bought the 2001 this year also. It is the foul weather commuter backing up my Camaro.

I think the Z71 is the nicest looking version too. When I first saw the "Empire Beige Metallic," especially in the sunlight, I knew that was the color for me. With the Z71 Signature Package, Second Row Power Bucket seats, 1st and 2nd Row All Weather Floor Mats, and Wheel Locks, the MSRP was $65,925, right at the AT4 staring price!!

Just don't make the mistake I made in thinking the z71 SIGNATURE package was same as z71 off road package.

Yeah, they don't offer the "Z71 Signature Package" anymore. It couldn't be ordered after September 17th, 2020. I guess that unless you dug into each of the items included closely, it was confusing a lot of people on what they thought they were getting. The "Z71 Off-Road Package" is the more expensive one now and includes all the good stuff you'd expect with the name. Still the "Z71 Signature Package" has a lot of goodies, but not all you might expect given the name.
Yeah when I was searching vehicles in my area I thought it was the same. I didn't know it meant there was no magnetic ride control and no air suspension.
The one I posted is the Z71 Signature package. Is there a difference in the front grill area for off road clearance with the Off Road package?

Cosmetically, everything (which includes the grill and Skid Plate) is the same. What you don't have with the "Z71 Signature Package" that you get with the Z71 Off-Road Package" is the "Adaptive Air-Ride Suspension" that allows you to raise the vehicle height to gain the higher off-road clearance.
I think that's why they dropped the "Z71 Signature Package" because it gave the illusion that you get all those "bells and whistles" you need for off-road and that wasn't the case.
