Eastern Shore MD area. Found the forum while searching about leveling my new (to me) burban. Read a ton, just realized I cannot post or interact on classifieds until reaching 85 posts ... How does that work, do I just comment on people's posts like 85 times? Or does that mean 85 original posts? Anyway, thanks in advance to everyone out there passing on their knowledge and tips/lessons learned.

Welcome to the forum from Oregon. Post pics please. I think you read it wrong about the post count of 85. You can post just like you did in the introduction.


We recommend that you put all your rig(s) info in your signature so we all don’t have to guess at year, make, model, engine size, trans, rear axle locker…….etc. While you may have posted pertinent info in your first post, you may forget to do it again and the info is needed by us anyway. Makes it way easier on all members that attempt to help, to have that info right up front. It is also recommended that you take a pic of your RPO codes, on the inside cover of the glove box, and post that image in your signature. All this info will greatly help those that will try to help with a problem.


If there is any other info, like upgrades, mods or recent mechanical/maintenance work done, that would be helpful in any post as well. Too many times a question is asked by the poster and after about 10 responses we find out that the poster has done recent work to attempt to fix the problem or work that was done that SEEMS not related to the problem.

Reaching 85 posts will be easy. Check out the entire forum list...All years and every subject you might find interesting. Check out the 2007-2014 section first since you have a 2007 and you can probably help someone there. Also check out the lounge section.

That's the thing about putting all that info in the signature. You can add and subtract info as you go and it comes up with each one of your posts. Like the engine and trans in your rig should be there as well.

Dang, thanks. Lots to learn. I have no clue which transmission I have; it's factory.

Use this link and type in your entire 17 digit VIN number and the site will bring up your entire sheet of what is on your rig going down the assembly line. It will tell you in that info what trans you have.
