SLP resonator delete? 2015+

Curious, SLP offers a resonator delete for the 2007-2014 Tahoe/Yukon. Apparently they do not offer it for the 2015+

Has anyone adapted one to fit the 2015+? Is the stock exhaust the same diameter from 07-14 to 15+?

Stock exhaust is mine. The other photo is from Amazon as well as a picture from an Amazon reviewer (I assume on an 07-14 Tahoe/Yukon).

Does anyone offer a similar setup? I don't see a reason to do a full catback. If I had the extra money to spend I'd go with a Corsa system. I figure this resonator delete, Z71 skid plate kit and a CAI should put me well below the cost of an aftermarket exhaust. Plus leave me a few extra bucks for some other small items.

Says "2.75" diameter outlet pipe". Get out your measuring stick and see if it's compatible with what you have, and then get to modifying to make it fit. If you want to.

I checked... same size as my 2015.. and the exhaust looks about identical shape wise. The hanger might be slightly different. I think I'll order one of these and give it a try. I'll update once I do it.

I'll probably order it and a few other things over the span of this month and next. First priority are skid plates and emergency lighting for work. Then exhaust and other cosmetic fixes and add on items (bullbar, pushbar or something similar), shocks and leveling kit. My buddy and I stood under it on the lift and the exhaust on a 15 must be very similar to a 14. At a quick glance, the complete undercarriage looks pretty much the same. I'm sure it's not the same, but at the same time I doubt GM changed a bunch.

I can't tell the difference between a 2014 and 2015 without an undercarriage photos side-by-side, and even then they look so similar. even if it wasn't designed for a 2015 or newer, I have a feeling it would fit

I've seen a lot of videos on YouTube of the resonator delete and even muffler deletes. I think the resonator delete gives it a little more sound, but not much. That's why I thought I might go this route. I think that's a decent price too, considering how much just a nice set of tips cost.

no, but I ended up cutting my resonator off and running my own pipe just to get an idea of sound. Very little increase in sound even with the flapper tied open. I think I am going to just to the mid muffler delete. Problem is finding 2.75" ID piping to slip over the factory pipe. My buddy is replacing his mid pipe on his 2020 ram and I measure that pipe and it is 2.75" ID pipe and has a small resonator in it. Going to try that on there once he gets his new pipe in.

That's interesting....I didn't know Roush and SLP were affiliated.

I still plan on ordering one (assuming they stay available), I just need some other more pressing items (front rear emergency lighting, brush guard/push bar with winch), leveling kit, and skid plates.... I've been driving so much I barely had time to put license plates on it... And that only takes 2 screws lol.

So, I get under the Tahoe today to replace the exhaust clamp in front of the flex pipe. For curiosity I pulled the exhaust apart and fired it up. I was shocked how quiet those converters make it, even opened up. I also slid back further to see about opening the butterfly valve on the exhaust permanently...

I guess someone beat me to it?

So now I'm wondering what to do exhaust wise. I was hoping that slp piece would add a little more sound.... but now I'm thinking resonator and muffler delete plus the slp.

just ordered it for my 2019 off amazon, so free return if I cant get it to work. It will be here Friday. It will be paired with K&N CAI, Range device and open butterfly valve.

I deleted the muffler on my 2017 Suburban but left the resonator. Sounds decent but the drone is pretty bad.
