I most certainly beat the Corvette and it was on drag radials, definitely not stock either. A few guys came up to me after that race and said, “holy crap, is that thing on snow tires?” lol... sure was and the next day we got 8” of snow. Guess who had to park the race car and guess who was out playing in the snow lmao
Love it!!:waytogo:

Very nice build!

How has that throttle body been working? I've been running an LS2 90mm on my Magnusson for a few years without issues but I'm scared to upgrade to a Nick Williams.

Also what do you IATs look like with the chiller? I typically see 10-15* above ambient normal driving and have seen close to 140* after a 1-2-3 gear run.

Lastly why are you sticking with the MAF? I switched to speed density when I first put my blower on and have had no issues with it.

You might look in to the Snake Eater Performance 102mm DBW. Yes, they have a very Ebay-esque name but a ton of people myself included have not been disappointed by their products. A lot of people use their injectors but I'm running the 102mm without any issues. Tuner had no problem with it either. I believe the issue with a lot of these larger DBW throttle bodies was solved when hpt released a patch that addressed it. Best part about the Snake Eater unit though... $275. Not sure what the rules are on linking nonvendor websites, but a quick google search of their name will take you there.

Try not to advertise parts in someone else’s build thread. I’m perfectly happy with my Granatelli Motorsports 103mm TB.

*Also, any HP Tuners “patch” you’re referring to would not fix the issues people have that are making big power or lots of boost. It has to do with the TB motors being strong enough under boost/high load.

Lol just trying to help the guy out since he was curious and price point seems to be a big factor on these dbw units

What's her race weight with you in it? We can figure this out mathmatically.

Rear Wheel Horsepower = Race Weight X ((Trap Speed X 0.00426)^3)
Your guess is as good as mine... I don't have a set of scales but one could assume that it's just under 6k lbs. Lets say 5,800 lbs to be conservative.

5800 X ((124 X 0.00426)^3) = 855 rwhp which is pretty close to what I was guessing (curb weight is 5,635 lbs)

That's awesome, always enjoy watching your short clips on youtube! What would you figure the motor's output to be without the supercharger? I sometimes dream of a 402 and wonder what kind of power it would make while still retaining good street manners and reliability for 200K miles.

I’d say it’s probably making at least 600hp N/A. Obviously the camshaft would ideally change with no blower but I’d say that’s a pretty good estimate given the current output. Generally 1hp per cube is standard in a N/A factory application and usually 1.5hp per cube in a high performance build. No reason you can’t have performance and reliability at the same time.

I did a lot this week... Started by taking out my BellTech drop struts up front and put in some double adjustable QA1 coil overs and also removed my rear BellTech springs and put in Tony's 5-6" spring with a spacer. I put in helper bags and did the free travel mod while I was back there. Also put double adjustable QA1 shocks in the rear. The truck rides 1000X better now than it did before.

Last week I also redid my air intake and used 5" tube for the entire thing. Added a honeycomb before the MAF sensor as well...

Glade you like the ride! what are the model numbers for the rear shocks? I’m want to order some for my rear also.

It’s been a ton of fun. I had a blast at the Woodward Dream Cruise last week. Got in some great racing and those shocks are still working great. I was able to out 60’ a McLaren 720S using launch control and a Lamborghini Huracan at the same time.

All the parts I used are in this thread, took me 30 seconds to find the post.

Any racing videos you can post?
I didn’t really catch a damn thing, my passenger was an idiot and couldn't even turn on the GoPro on his side. Here’s a few short ones and one some kid took of me launching at a light.

Nothing special here...

Snap, Crackle, Pop

McLaren 720s vs Lamborghini Huracan Evo - I had a crap launch because I tried to leave with boost and also had just blown up my A/C compressor which chills my blower. ECU was pulling a ton of timing on this run so I was down almost 100hp. We ran again from a roll and I did much better but did not get it on video unfortunately. I put air in the helper bags for the first time and it was hooking up great all day, not sure why I had to try and leave with boost on this one, stupid mistake.

Good clean race with a modded G8 GXP, again, camera man was an idiot...

There was so much more action I wish I could have caught on camera. I took out a Porsche GT3 from a dig and a roll, gapped a Demon Challenger, totally spanked a 6th Gen Camaro SS with a built 427/6 Speed and so much more. I even did a little pull with a C8 Corvette from a roll and pulled on him too. I'll look through the rest of my footage and see what else I can post.

More AWD launches, one rolling AWD burnout at the end.

*I'm not really sure why they aren't showing up in HD, YouTube might still be processing them or something...
