Has anyone found any after market engine covers. Only one I found was a red custom painted one for $950. Lookin to liven up the engine compartment.

Have you thought about painting your own covers or sourcing some duplicates and then installing? I've gone different routes with my trucks & the Escalade previously. Everything from polished / chrome supercharger, to FAST LSX intake with polished or powder coated finishes, etc. I had some of the items painted for the Escalade and work on the Duramax engine compartment will be starting in earnest soon.

I can tell you that the painted surfaces if prepared correctly will be fine and last long. Attached are pictures of the Escalade parts and other items items.

You can wrap it with 3m vinyl like i did my door sills

Honestly, that orange paint looks nice, for the moment..... It looks like it was just painted.
Which is why it looks "so nice" ???. The most important coat is a correct plastic PRIMER. ( Maybe check out motorcycle bodywork paints since they are plastic???)

After a correct primer, I may suggest a 'Dupli-Color' engine enamel spray paint. They hold up well in heat.
Dupli-Color has an engine clear coat to top the color coat, to make it sparkle !!

That one looks like it was painted with an airbrush, not a rattle can. Does Advance carry paint outside of spray cans?
