Has anyone purchased a AFM for their 2020 Chevy?
Range Technologies has not made a updated version of this for 2020 yet, but they are saying people are buying the 2019 version and are having no problems on their 2020’s. I’m just checking before I decide to purchase one. I appreciate any info. Thanks

Well, they not taking any order of 2020; everything is base on 2021; are you sure your dealer telling you the truth?

Is the same engine ET 3 6.2 and 5.3! They all have the same AFM you can delete with some aftermarket programming toll.

That’s kinda what Range Technology was telling me. There telling me they have sold the 2019 version for the 2020 models without any negative feedback. Just looking for someone that has tried it.

Had a range on my ‘13 no problems ....im sure its same on the 15+ models. A 2020 model is simply a 19 .... GM waited to release new models and 20 is just a carry over year.... like 13-14 modrls.

Good to know. This is my first 5.3 with the AFM. I’m guessing GM has worked out all the problems with it.

I just got a 2016 and it was the first time driving with the Chevy AFM. It’s definitely noticeable and annoying. I got a used Range from a friend and it does the trick. I’d say go for it.

When I bought my Range AFM disabler there was talk about when GM would start putting DFM into which vehicles. I guess some trucks will get it in 2019/2020 but I'm unclear when the Tahoe/Yukon/Denali will switch from AFM to DFM. Range says they do not support DFM as of yet.
