Hey guys I need a guide on how to replace a fuel injector on my 2007 Chevy Tahoe
What particular code would that be?
Well, now I can’t find the printout. It did not say I needed to replace an injector. It said the problem could be the cats, an O2 sensor or symptoms of a bad injector. I replaced the particular sensor mentioned. The check engine light comes and goes. Seems it comes more commonly when it’s wet roads. I’ll try to find the sheet tomorrow or I’ll just buy an OBD-2 reader.https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=1858612&cc=3305736&jsn=2194
You have a code that says you NEED to replace an injector? I have heard of diagnostics leading to that and heard people recommend that as a best guess but never have heard of a code like that that tells you to replace an injector. Am I missing something?

Sorry, for now 2014 SLT, 5.3L, 128,*** miles. Still looking for the printout with code. Engine idle is rough, but only sometimes, some black smoke came out of the exhaust when my wife started it yesterday.Your question does state what is the best injector replacememt. I agree with Ron there is not code for injector failure that I'm aware of on any of the obs, nbs, nnbs suvs.
Knowing a little history about your suv would give us more knowledge to give you a more detail diagnostic.
Year, model, engine size, miles and the code you got would help us tremendously.

Here are the codes. Mileage is 128,***, not 150,000. I only replaced 1 O2 sensor a couple months back, the check engine light returned. I can't remember which bank I replaced at that time. I replaced with NTK/NGK O2 sensor. Looks like I need to replace some others. Probably should have replaced all 4 at the time. I appreciate any help on steps to take to diagnose and solve this problem.
The P0301 code is what I would concentrate on first. Everything else is downstream from that. Your #1 cylinder is showing a misfire and needs addressed. It could be the injector, the spark plug or the plug wire or the coil. You may also have a vacuum leak at that cylinder. How old are the plugs and wires?
Have you changed out the spark plugs or wires? They are recommended to be changed out at 100k miles, I would start there. If that does not solve the problem get the coils tested, I would not worry about the O2 sensors until you check everything upstream the O2 sensors.
