Look at you willing to do a salvage yard run for the masses. :chewie:
Nice guy eh :waytogo:
I’m going to make a run this month to the local pick a part if there are any requests for small items. I need a cup holder insert, visors and a piece of the cowl.

@Squirrelsmith there is a 96 4dr with red interior among them.
Think you could post up some pics for us junkyard dogs? I love junkyards, but never have time to go. It's amazing what you can find--car and non car related.

I love going to U-pull-it around here. Its too bad they don't have my body style yukons yet. I can only get parts for my older truck.

i used to like going to the u pull it yards even when it wasn't me who needed something. find all kinds of neat stuff and tools forgotten around vehicles. they only charge for walking out with car parts not if you walk out with more tools than you brought in.

A bit of a bust. It was a mud pit and the 400’s were stripped pretty good for interior parts.
I ended up walking out with a (wrong) piece of trim, the tiny vacuum line for the ac blower system, “new” radio knobs, dash bezel clips and some red interior parts for @Squirrelsmith

$16 total

I did see a 2500 with a 454 in the lot, made me think of @bigfootchiro ’s swap. No 5 speed trucks, I might go back and grab a hood that’s already my pewter color in darn good shape.

The hinges on mine must have froze on a previous owner, I have caved in dents in the corners. I pulled them with suction but they sunk again immediately. I’ve seen this on a few other OBS trucks.
