Huh. Not exactly the interior I was expecting...

Edit: ok, interesting. The Denali will have a different dash. Huh.

“Among the big differences:

Top-of-the-line Denali models of the Yukon and Yukon XL will have a unique dashboard including a flush-fitted touchscreen”

Interior pics posted of the Yukon AT4 model doesn’t seem much different than the current gen, at least as far as the dash layout is concerned.

I wonder if the Denali trim will share a dash design and cluster layout with the Escalade? Certainly it wouldn’t have it’s own individual style dash and layout only specific to Denali trim and nothing else? That would surely drive up costs beyond being competitive.

Amazingly it will. Here’s the spy shot

It looks great!

And the most predictable reaction of the year goes to....GTNator!!!

;-)

It is actually pretty nice. Not sure about that grill and dash but it’s nicer than the Tahoe dash that has an iPad jammed into it

Overall I like it. I think the interior is light years ahead of the new GM trucks.
The rear gate and tail lights look somewhat manlier than the minivan rear gate on the Tahoe.
But why did they put the marker lights in the fender? Horrible...
I could do without the the rear glass line turning up
At the back. Makes everything look to soft. Needs more masculine cues.

They sure is purty and all them gadgets are cool but my oh my, I can only imagine what maintaining that thing would be like when she's ten or fifteen years old!

No thank you. Gone after max 7 years. These new ones aren’t going to last like the old ones. Too much electronic crap. This one still runs like a champ.

She's a beauty Bob! With my health the way it is, I could drive nowhere near as far in that classic as I can in mine and am sure the new ones are even more comforting. Is that a '72?

Always wanted a GMC Suburban and K5 Jimmy but in the end decided on the GMT900 platform. My youngest daughter though wants a K5 Blazer or Jimmy in the worst way.

1971. My Dad bought it brand new and it was restored in the early 90’s.

Ok well, let’s give folks one big ‘OK BOOMER!!’ and move back to the subject at hand?

Power...curious that they stuck with the 420hp on the Denali? Same setup for the escalade do we think? I’m surprised GM was willing to let Lincoln’s 450hp stand as best in class...?
