Let me introduce you to my truck. Its an 02 Yukon XL with a Denali Front clip and rear bumper. It used to belong to my best friend who passed away in August of 2015. I recently bought it from his parents after the truck was broken into and vandalized.

Since getting the truck towed over to my house I fixed the ignition switch to where I can start and drive it. I swapped out the stock roof rack for a z71 rack, replaced my broken Escalade console with a full length out of an 05 Avalanche, debadged, and picked up a set of 20" Decladded GMC wheels. I am currently working on the interior lighting and will be utilizing some of the methods I have seen on @05Single build thread. I will update more moving forward.

Here is a quick rendering I did of my truck with 20x9 Vision wheels and a drop. I wanna say its close to a 5/7 drop but im just guessing here. Just ordered a 2/4 from crown that should be in Saturday.

All unfortunately. I owned it about 3.5 yrs ago and had cleaned the hell out of it. And maintained it well. Gave it to his parents so they had his truck ya know.

My Crown Suspension 3/4 drop was delivered today. Ive heard mixed reviews on em but I figure for the price its worth a shot. I will be eventually looking at a little bit more drop in the future but until I get my new wheels I don't wanna go too far.

Good luck with the build. Sux your friend passed, but really cool that you saved his truck from a slow painful death. Sub'd.

We all have our time unfortunately. Really great guy so it sucks and he was still young. Gonna do my best to keep it nice and clean.

Yeah I'm going to hold off on installing until I have a little extra cash to get the Spohn adjustable panhard bar as well. Still undecided if I am going to get spindles instead of the keys.

Can’t wait to see this build unfold. I got the same kit, rides fine, no complaints here .
Just reminded me I need to get the spohn panhard too
And I’ll remind you when you install the rear springs make sure do the free travel mod then and there. Don’t be lazy like I was.

Most definitely gonna do the free travel while in there. Hopefully mine turns out as pretty as yours. Ill post a pic of my other build as well.

Definitely need more pics of the square dime.

Is it 4x4 or are you running spacers up front to get the Vette wheels on it?

Its a 92 x cab with a 2.8 and auto. 2wd but has a gu4 g80 rearend from an 00 Blazer 4wd so I have discs and no need for spacers on the rear. The front has 2" spacers atm but I may be building a set of extended arms so I dont have to run the spacers. Wheels of course are staggered vette sawblades. Rears are 275/45r17 and the front will be 245/45r17. Still in the mockup phase.

Lights wired up in the z71 rack. Also swapped in led reverse bulbs. Need to get a different set of tails eventually.
