No idea about options etc. they seem pretty forward thinking but I don’t pay a ton of attention to the pickup market.

I will say the f series interior looks like a transformer.

I disagree. That's much more soothing to me. I think it may be as simple as the way the vents are. The steering wheel is way better, too.

Yeah there’s no doubt the ford is much worse.

Hard to say from the spy pics. I’m done with yukon/Tahoes for now (it would be 3 in a row for me) as the interior just isn’t a big enough step forward for me. I’m holding out hope that the escalade can be the class leader. From the looks so far signs are good.

Over the years I have owned many a new vehicle and my Dmax was the best of all of them. I will likely never buy new again. Lots of money that I could use to find a great used one and pocket the diff.

The reality is Ford and GM MSRP prices do not reflect the selling price as everyone knows. The difference is that with Fords, they start discounting them heavily right out of the gate. For example, I went with my neighbor to see an Expedition Max Platinum $83k sticker for him. He’s not a Ford guy but just wants to check out all options. Within 15 minutes into the test drive, the salesman said he can take off $15k! Afterwards my neighbor finished the dance of exchanging phone numbers inside at the desk, the manager stopped by to meet him, and took off another $2k. My neighbor wasn’t even TRYING to negotiate, he was just telling them that he was considering buying.

So when a dealer sells an $83k vehicle for $66k (and it could probably be less if you tried) resale value gets crushed right out of the gate.

Then after that you have the Ford name crushing resale value on top. That’s why prices are not the same, in either the new or used market. Ford is lower for the same thing vs. GM.
