Looking for part number - plastic piece under upper brake light

Anyone know what that 3 inch piece of plastic is called or part number that goes along the rear glass under the upper rear brake light? What years had this? I've seen them on Tahoe's and Suburbans. Thanks in advance!

I thought it was nice too, then I saw the whole back glass is different, and even junkyard prices put it out of range for what it is

Is the glass interchangeable? Looks like it just sticks on with doubkeback tape or something...

Nope.

That glass and plastic piece is ‘06 only, the rear glass from ‘01-‘05 has plastic molding around the perimeter of the glass with an integrated handle, the ‘06 on the other hand has no molding on the glass, has that trim piece at the top, and the handle bolts through the glass. I just spent most of the year looking for one, someone decided that if they couldn’t have a nice Tahoe then I couldn’t either and unloaded a 12 gauge on the back hatch. I replaced the hatch in the same color less than 4 hrs later because “ **** them that’s why “ the only problem was that the hatch I used was ‘01-‘05.
