Nice work.
Did you bend it a little bit or installed as is? I've seen people cut it a bit, then bend and weld back to restore the original position. I have mine waiting for a its time to install :)

Hey everyone. I know some of you guys can find really good deals. I'm looking for a set of bilstein 5100 for a 2004 suburban z71 and the best I'm seeing is about 91 a shock. If you guys know of any places to look it would be appreciated

Super sexy frostfighter defroster repair mod today! Did the left side yesterday, tested for continuity, and the right side was shot too, so this will be all set for winter weather.

Next time which hopefully there won’t be but just in case...mask off a nice little area and then use something like a thin putty knife to level it with the surface of the tape. It leaves it plenty thick and looks almost factory. You should be good to go though- that stuff works awesome.

Yeah, it looks like shit. Lol. That stuff kicks ass, but kinda a ***** to get it smooth. It gets stringy pretty quickly.

its a stock 13 2SS. its getting boost this winter. once the rear blows up ill work on a upgrade lol cars got like no miles for the year, got about 21,500 on her.
With those tires and boost I wouldn't expect it to last too long

from what ive read, stock rear and tranny are good to 650 hp,,,,just like a ZL1.

im no noob, so i expect the rear to blow up some day. its not a daily driver, never will be. ive put like 500 miles on it since i got it 6 months ago. it still has that new car smell inside too.

There's a small metal clip that's between the 2 cables that holds both pieces together. That's a 1 time clip. Replace both pieces of the cable at the same time. If not--it'll work, but after awhile that clip will break and you'll be back where you started.
Got it fixed. Broke the plastic clip between the two getting them adjusted tho. Has to reuse the old one damnit... can I buy just that clip?

I tried, I couldn't find anything, and the dealer doesn't sell just the clip--I'm talking about that metal clip. Which clip are you talking about?

Plastic c clip that you set the adjustment with. Locks the outside of the 2 cables together.
