Lift for 28inch wheels

Hi I'm new to the thread but I have a 2007 Chevy Tahoe LTZ and I want to put 28's on it but I want to know if a leveling kit 3inch in front and 1 inch in rear with 295/25/28 tire will that work any Info would help out ..a friend of mine has a rim shop and he told me to do 3 in front and 1 in rear but he wants to charge me 450 to do lift I think that's a little much when I have seen in done on YouTube by everyday people like myself so any help will do

Lowered with 28’s=win. Lifted with 28’s= looks like a donk. Why would you lift it? It’s not necessary plus looks wrong. You’ll have to mod the inner fender liners either way but that’s about it. I had 26’s lowered 2/4 with (almost) no rubbing. You can just get lower profile tires on 28’s and be the same outer diameter.

I'm in ga so riding tall is something we do around here plus I'm a tall guy but would a 3 inch in front and 1 inch in rear (leveling kit) would that work with no rub ..295 25 28 tire

A 295/25/28 is 33.8" tall. I think 3 in the front and whatever you need to level up the rear would do it. You may or may not need to do a little reforming or trimming on the wheel well liners if you get any rub, but 295 isn't too wide, so you'll likely be fine.
