While design is critical, the behavior/responsiveness and reliability of the touch screens will be as critical. My main gripe with many of these applications is the delay, which is critical to the safety of a driver. Someone explained to me - may have been here - that automobiles require near-military grade electronics to put up with the vibrations and heat. Which brings up the question of how long these various applications are going to last over the long haul. I'd hate to be replacing one of these screens.

Agree. Time to relinquish control to a third party. I always have CarPlay up. Cannot imagine using default navigation and entertainment lol

Does anyone here think that the 2020 Yukon/Tahoe was delayed until 2020+ to 2021 because GM realized that they had to get their interiors in better shape after the response to the Silverado?
