2007-2014 Tahoe owners - would you do it all over...?

I love our 2010 ssv. Added a few creature comforts to it but nothing hard or expensive. When my wife decided she wanted a Tahoe as well I seriously considered just getting another but ended up giving her mine to drive and I bought something more fun to drive. Unfortunately it’s slightly ruined the performance of the Tahoe for me lol

Ty for the info. Going to take the tire to the Indy shop to have the stuff below done on the ailing rim.

I just replaced my tires on my 2007 Yukon XL Denail that has stock chrome 20" wheels ...The other two wheels had some minor pitting, which was smoothed out with an air tool with a fine grit sanding pad. Then, bead seal was applied to the wheels' bead areas, and the new tires were mounted.

We bought an 11 Denali XL 3 years ago. Drives great. Very expensive to maintain. 6 speed tranny performs well but costs $2500 to overhaul, which you should plan on every 100,00 to 150,000 miles, especially if towing. We still have overheating problems which no one seems to have a clue about.

put a HD tranny cooler. they even have rear diff coolers as well

I would buy another one, I have retired my current one from daily duty but it will be used to tow mostly.

Personally I only bought my 10 Yukon because the Indians ( found on the reserve with 75 others) stole my 06. The 06 was far better vehicle. How real steel rear bumper, with step vs, cheap plastic on the 10 with no step. Second row seats folded flat to form a one level cargo area on the 06, with 3rd row removed ( anybody interested in a grey leather 3rd row) vs 10 inches higher than the cargo are on the 10. The engine was also better on the 06, never burned oil even at 280,000 km. The 10 with AFM requires a top up an the oil always looks dirty. Lastly rust-out on the 10 between the rear door and the rear wheel wells has started on both sides. Just built cheaper.

Brought my Tahoe new in 2011 and we love it! Also owned a 2002 Tahoe.

The only thing I like better on a GMT800 over a GMT900 is the seating is a little more comfy on long road trips. Otherwise, I like the GMT900 better in almost every other category.

sitting at 88500 Only had a p0069/P0430 CAT due to a loose connection (tampered with at chain shop)

unplugged and replug in corrected the issue and resetting the CEL several drive cycles without issue

Out of curiosity have any of the owners of the trucks upgraded of replaced the trans coolers? Depending on the design of the cooler they can become embedded with road particulate or get mucked up internally. Either scenario leads to the overheat condition when the trans looks to the cooler to remove the additional heat loading up.
