Anti-rattle pad?

What is this? Found it in the bottom of the passenger door inside the front bottom. The driver side one was worn to barely anything. What is it?

Someone else posted a thread a while ago, finding the same thing in their driveway not sure where it is.

Might be a mass damper?

that is a flapper stopper that goes under your hood at the end of the wiper cowl. It prevents excess water flowing in, but opens to let water run out. I don't know if the part is still available, may want to check with your dealer. During severe weather or high pressure washing you may get water inside under the dash area.
