its like cold here today, like single digits, so turn on the rear heat and its cold only. it used to work.

found the yt vid where its saying the module is bad in the rear panel.

my question here is you think having the battery go stone dead and being replaced now it needs the simple fuse pull reset?

its to cold to give a crap right now to test this, just wondering what others may have ended up doing.

Sub'd. Mine is out, too. I tried a couple "reset" procedures. No dice. From my reading, I ended up thinking it's that control module back there, too. Lemme know what you do /find.

just noticed im in the wrong section lol if a mod could move this to the 05 section please.

im gonna try pulling some fuses, if that dont work ill check its actuator first, then bite the bullet on the module, as its like a 100 bucks pretty much.

what sucks is it worked before the battery went dead on me. could be unrelated but who knows.

did the reset deal a few times, no dice there, did the 10 and 30 amp fuses. so i pulled the rear panels and took the actuator off turned the knob, i got heat, turned the heat up and down actuator plugged in, it did nothing. with out a multi meter i cant really tell if its getting power, but i had a old one from the regal, dont ya know its the same part #, plugged it in and nothing, at least i know that old one would click about. so i bolted the old one i had on the truck and set it to hot air and left it unplugged.

im gonna go and order the module, ill update after i get it installed.

i went out trolling the net for the best price on one of these damn things. amazon @113 shipped is the best price for a dorman one. the ac delco one shows a cheaper price, 65 to 88 but not one place i found has it in stock, not even rockauto.

Just for the hell of it--have you tried cracking your old one open to see if it's something that could be repaired or band aided by soldering or glueing?

nope, figured if its fixable someone would have made a how to vid for it. seems its a upgraded part as the old one was prone to failure.
