Rear tailgate appliqué swap

What up fellow hoe n yuk owners. I was wondering if anyone has swapped out the Tahoe appliqué with the Yukon one for a ‘07-‘14 Tahoe if I would have any fitment issues before I go and buy a Yukon one. I like the Yukon one better. It’s cleaner lookin. I noticed it has a different profile then the Tahoe one. Thanks in advance. Ps sorry if there has been a post about this I’m new to the forum and still learning how to navigate and search. Thanks again.

They look like they don’t stick out as far and no alignment holes for any emblems. A lot cleaner lookin imo. I’m sure they didn’t change up the mounting holes that hold this piece on but who knows with GM. They have done stupid stuff n past. Oh well I might just bite the bullet and order one and I can let others know it if works or not. Lol. It’s only money can’t take with me.

There's a bunch of threads on here from people who have done it. Only real difference is the holes for the logo aren't there. They fit fine, same mounting holes. You will probably break the one on there now trying to get it off.

oh ok. Nice. Yea still learning how to search for topics on here. Lol. That looks killer. What drop and rim n tire size you go on the burb. Looks clean. I plan on doing a 3/5 drop on the Tahoe with 285/40/22’s thanks for the info.

I'm not sure what drop was on there in that pic. I had it (Yukon) lowered and then bagged it. it's on 24's

Nice. Looks super clean. My ol lady wants to bag n body drop the Tahoe. I told her not on a daily. I did that for several yrs. plus doin that on an suv is a lot of work. Done a few OBS Tahoe’s in the past.
