Why don’t you like putting fluid in the bleeder when bleeding brakes? It’s designed like that to make it super easy. You just made it harder.
Matter of opinion.. I prefer to not have to worry about cleaning the tank or contaminating the fluid on the next flush. I've done it both ways and prefer filling the master. Once done I just put everything away and it's still clean..

How can the fluid get contaminated? It’s under pressure and can only flow into the reservoir, not the other way around. It’s nice to be able to add a quart (or more) of fluid to the Motiv and not have to worry about it even flushing all 4 wheels. It’s easy to just pour it back into the container afterwards and wipe the inside out. But yes each to their own as you say. Also don’t you lose the pressure in the master when you disconnect the Motiv? Seems air would start moving backwards in the lines when that happens.

Fan speed resistor decided to quit its job on Turkey Day. Had speeds 1-5 the night before. Next morning, only thing that worked was speed 5. :rage:

You are supposed to dispose of the old fluid, brake fluid attracts moisture which is why you don't just empty the container. You are supposed to flush it with denatured alcohol or something. Again something else I have to make sure I keep handy. The way mime is setup I can disconnect the line from the master cylinder and keep the bottle pressurized...add fluid and reconnect..

Pic for reference under pressure and not connected. I also don't have to fight with the lid to depressurize the tank and no chance of bugs finding their way into to bottle either..

Thank God for good neighbors. We wouldn't have known if our neighbors didn't let us know about all this rain.

Greetings from central PA where we've had the wettest year in over 80... Just a truly incomprehensible amount of rain.

Glad the hoe is safe.

If the steering feels loose then try this.
Take off the plastic cover that's behind the steering wheel. It's where your emergency flasher switch is. Then turn the wheel to the 3 and the 9 o'clock position. You'll see two torx bolts respectively. They may have yellow markings on them. Even though they are locked in from the factory they tend to back out. Tighten both down and see how that feels.

So after driving around the block I can confirm that removing the steering column cover and tightening these two screws has firmed up my steering wheel. Pretty happy about that. Will update after a lengthy drive.
