Used G80 have any value?

I don't see how people are selling these things on ebay "Rebuilt GM G80" for $150

The rebuild kits are $200... unless they're not replacing all the parts...

Some of them w/ R&P gears for $225...

I have a fully functional G80 I pulled from my Yukon I thought about selling. The spider gears have some wear on them but the locker is in great shape. Is it worth anything?

You can probably sell it on eBay 100+ buckaroos, You wouldn't believe how salty I was when I went to a junkyard to get a complete rear end, just to find out that the assholes took the carriers out of every single GM 10 bolt with a g80 in the yard just to sell them on eBay since they pretty much give them for free at this particular yard.

$100 isn't even worth my time listing, processing payment, boxing up, and shipping... unless somebody here would have a need for one.

Are you saying the guys that run the yard took them or somebody else did? I can't fathom going out and stripping carriers for $100-200 on ebay... by the time you pay the yard, pay the ebay fees, box it up, spend time, tools, etc... wow...

Honestly, I just can't fathom people having that much free time and needing the money that bad. By the time it's all done they make what? $10/hr for their time.
