I was at Tahoeforum 10 years ago when I bought my 2008 LTZ and I literally sold it 10 years to the day I bought it on May 9th this year. Had 218k miles, took great care of it and was able to get $7,650 out of it the day before I bought this 2018 bad boy.

2017 Tungsten Metallic Z71, appears to be loaded similar to an LTZ. The only options I think are not present are upgraded wheel package, cooled seats, and middle row cpts chairs. But, we will routinely roll with double car seats, so we were shopping for the bench seat.

It's a local, 1 owner, and pristine with 22K miles. We paid a flat $46K. The dealer sticker was in the glove box, MSRP was just under $67K.

I think I did OK for year, options and miles. Not a fan of the OEM Goodyears, but I will remedy that at that large red & white box tire shop this Memorial Day weekend when the Michelin Defender LTX's have the big rebates!

I did!

I was looking for a used 2015 LTZ and stumbled across a new 2017 Tahoe LT With Luxury and Signature Package with 215 miles. It might was well be a Premier. $53,500 before tax and tags. Pic attached. They had two identical ones on their lot. The other one has since gone back up to $66,500, so I call my deal a success.

Yeah, I'd like to think any 17 should be at a minimum 20% off. Depending on the week, many 18s go for close to 18% off sticker. remember a 17 will be 2 MY yrs old once the 19s arrive at dealers next month.

I live in the Chicago area and have been talking to most GMC dealers within 100 miles. I am interested in a new 2018 Denali and from what I have found is that most dealers are in the 6 to 7% off MSRP range, some will go as low as 10% and I found one that was interested in clearing out his remaining inventory and would go as low 13%. Is 13% a good deal or should I wait a little longer?

Those are 8-9k off MSRP. If you don't qualify its only 2-4k off.
Don't suppose you are finding these deals anywhere in the midwest?

Laura currently has $12-13k off sticker (16%) on denali models but most places are not pushing the 18s like them.

If talking to me yes it’s new, I got 3000 on top of the discounts for being a member of the corvette museum. It was 50.00 to join.

My Dad bought a Tahoe LT for 20% off MSRP. It was hail damaged but the dealership is going to fix the damage for free.

I think it was around 66k MSRP and he paid $52800.

Of course with ad prices, you have to qualify for all rebates. And to make matters worse, some dealers include mutually exclusive rebates in their pricing knowing full well you can get one or the other, but not both.

In general, I agree with you, and nothing bothers me more!! However, the prices I'm stating are from Koons Chevy GMC and they do NOT do that. Anyone can walk in and buy at the advertised price. They do offer special rebates to certain categories that not everyone qualifies for, like military, first responders, etc. but IF one qualifies, then that is a subtraction from the advertised price. I wish all dealers' adds were this way, but as you said, most are not.
