Nice yeah I'm in Arizona so mine doesn't have any rust or corrosion anywhere either so I'm hoping they will come off pretty easy to
I was too quick to celebrate. The driver side got me. The bolt broke flush with the head, and if that is not enough, that is the bolt closest to the firewall, so it's very difficult to get to it either with a drill bit or with a welding gun. A mechanic quoted me $150 to get it fixed, so I will report back once its done

Either that or cut the whole thing out and put a mesh grille in not sure how it would look but if done right I think it could look good

Gonna try the dremel deal first. Little at a time. I think if I cut it out completely, the grill will protrude, and I'll lose that flushness.

I still have something up my sleeve. But yeah these wheels really set it off

@Tonyrodz this guy isn't even the most affordable in town, but he and his wife have an impeccable reputation
I would consider driving down from DFW for that price. Hrmm. I think my rear main is leaking and I'm at 148k. Don't want to get stranded...maybe replace before failure?

Let us know if you have them do it. Also, is it word of mouth or do they have references on other forums where you say their rep is impeccable?

Cheers.

Mostly in the LS swap community and mud truck circles, which in south Texas are both huge

Today was the first day in 2 weeks that it was 90*+ and 10000% humidity, so I washed and cleaned my XL.

Also, noticing all the rust bubbles on the rocker panels, I'm really tempted to Rhino Line the damn thing....

I'm gonna try to make it look factory with the cuts--BUT--if it get's annoying enough, I may just drill it out.
No point in cutting out the grille, the sub doesn't provide any high signals, only low resonant frequencies. just stick a 1/2 piece of wood on some double sided tape between the enclosure and the plastic panel and you will be absolutely fine. I on the other hand am working up a plan on sticking 2-10's in that back quarter panel

You need air movement regardless of frequencies. Some people might not realize that. Show me a sub enclosure that doesn't have holes; usually a big ass hole the size of the sub. Unless you want a big old vibrator back there. Your gf might like it though.
