Got new tires this morning (275/60R20 KO2s) and as I anticipated they do rub a little. I know I'll need about 2 more inches of lift in the front and maybe some trimming to counteract that issue. I'm also not super satisfied with my ride quality, as it seems kind of rough at times, so I was thinking about possibly balling out and getting new shocks instead of just a leveling kit. I found a set of 4 Fox bolt-on shocks on Amazon for about $1100 (here), which I think is a fairly reasonable price. They can adjust up to 2" in front and 1" in the rear, so I wouldn't need a leveling kit. Anyways, if anyone has experience with this setup or has any advice to give I'd appreciate it.

I've read good things about Fox shocks. I don't run them but went with Bilstein 5100 shocks which the front struts/shocks have the ability to lift. Night and day ride quality over stock in my opinion. Even my tire guy said he couldn't believe how good my Tahoe road especially after the tires were on.

Maybe look into the Bilsteins, they are cheaper.

What springs did you go with?

good find, price isnt to bad considering the alternative swapping it all out.
when i was trying to figure out what i wanted to do with mine that was one of the big turn offs of lifting. anything under 4" lift was just spacers, i didnt like how it rode with the stock springs/shocks i didnt want it lifted and feeling the same.

You may check the air pressure in the new tires. If they are LT tires, they will go up to 80 psi or so. When I got my tires, the shop aired them up to the max and they rode pretty rough. I backed off to 45 and it was much better.

I've had 5100 Bilsteins on 2 SUVs, I think they ride OK. But I'll try something different next time. The Fox stuff looks pretty nice.

How does the kit you're looking at lift the back? shocks don't change the rear ride height at all. the shocks may just be compatible with an inch of lift. You may still need a rear spacer.

Tire shop aired them up to 35. No issue there.

Not sure, that's just what the product description states.

Update: I am an idiot and misread the product description. The shocks are not height-adjustable, they just accommodate up to 2" of lift in the front and 1" in the rear. That being said, I found a 2" front leveling kit and a 1" rear leveling kit, both from Motofab. Total it'll be about $70, anybody have any reason why I shouldn't pull the trigger on these?
