My 05 Tahoe with a tuned 5.3 and 4:10 gears does 18mpg highway at best in Colorado. My 09 6.2 and 3:42 gear Tahoe does 20mpg - 22 mpg highway at best in Colorado.

Figure 15 miles per gallon and 22 gallons of usable fuel. That's a range of 330 miles.

We can get a little more specific if we know what you're driving and how its configured.

Also depends if you drive the speed limit, or hammer down. Somewhere between 350 and 430 is reasonable for your ride.

I got just shy of 500 miles on my last tank in my 2011 Avalanche. 15-16 mpg and a 31 gallon tank

I would say 350 a tank is a safe bet that seems to be the average unless you have that monster 31 gallon tank, lol mines only 26

I am also in the 350 neighborhood. 2006 5.3. That's using about 22 of the 26 gallon tank. I can get upwards of 380 if it's all highway on those same 22 gallons.

Nothing really noticeable imo, but it sounds good! I also have not tuned to take advantage of the higher flow yet. I do think it gives blackbear a little more to work with.

When yours was new they were rated at 15 city and 20 highway. Now fueleconomy.gov rates them for 13 city and 17 highway. So taking the lower number, that's 374 miles after burning 22 gallons.
