You must've been a boy scout. Always prepared! Lol

Haha no Boy Scout, I’ve always had older vehicles, I always mod them, I always have the typical issues here and there that come with all that. Over the years I have started putting more and more tools in my cars on a daily basis. I drive around with that stuff all the time and sometimes I have a floor jack in there as well. I like having the right tool for the job wherever and whenever the job comes calling.

All my breakdowns have been resolved by AAA Plus. That 200 mile tow coverage is nice. But I do carry a few tools. If I was to try to cover my ass completely I'd need my roll-around and that's not happening lol.

I never had the Plus, only ever had regular AAA, first 5 miles were free which does nothing for me where I live. I canceled it last year, added State Farm’s road side and towing to my insurance instead, saved me some money and I now get 50 miles for free. But I rather try to fix it and get home then deal with any of that, but I agree I would need a lot more than pictured to cover it all. Those tools are enough to fix/rig just about any thing on the bottom side, so I can roadside repair and limp home.

Back to parts....
Pulling the trigger on my cluster today, going navy blue Escalade platinum with red needles! Also ordered the plug and play resistors to see if I can get these leds to work right in the back. And ordered 6k replacement bulbs for my low beams, finally ditching the 10K bulbs. Besides that looking at 9005 LEDs for the hi beam also.

Gotta let us know if the red needles get washed out by the blue leds. I was going that route until I was told it wouldn't work. I have the blue leds with the stock ugly ass orange needles. No offense to whoever likes the stock orange ugly ass needles.

Wouldn't have to worry about that if you bought a dodge

Yeah since I have the older cluster I can swap the 194 bulbs out to try different colors pretty easily. I was going to try a couple different colors to see what looks best with the red needles. I originally wanted to match everything to the blue on my Alpine HU but I am now planning to swap a double bezel and HU in next year so the blue will be gone then.
But when I get the LEDs and cluster I’ll get photos of the different bulbs with red needles and post them up.

Yeah cause the dodge trans would have let go pulling out of the driveway. No need for roadside at that point lol :gr_guns:

I feel like I can say that, I’ve owned 3 different Dodge Rams and all 3 had transmission and power steering problems. Not to say I would never get another one but I know what I my first upgrades would be....

I had a Dodge Dakota 5.9 R/T. It was fast but wouldn't stop for shit, just skidded. I rear-ended 2 cars that stopped quick in front of me, plus with a solid diff it would just snap on me and I'd be doing 360's. I did that on a wet freeway and went across 3 lanes of rush-hour traffic doing spins and hit the barrier. It was a POS though because it was a Dodge. Never did really like that truck.

I love dodge. Was looking for a 4th gen hemi when I "came across" my Tahoe. Always had great luck and experience with dodge. Probably what I'll get when I sell the Tahoe. I always go back and forth dodge and gm lol.

Had a Black 2000 OBS 1500 Sport 2wd 5.9 with all the Mopar goodies from the dealer. Picked it up with 0 miles on it, drove it 2 years transmission went out and I wanted 4wd, so I traded it for a Red 99 1500 4wd 5.9 4.10. It was a blast, had that truck for 3 years put 3 transmissions in it and 4 power steering pumps. I went muddling a lot, finally the front mainseal on the transmission blew one day and all the fluid ran out in the driveway, needless to say I replaced it with a low mile junkyard trans and sold it to a highschool kid for cheap. So I was in the market for a new to me truck and was heading off to help clean up Hurricane Katrina so I picked up a Silver 2003 2500 H/O Cummings 4 door long bed, was a short bus more or less. Put a trans in it just after passing the 1 year mark, now that truck did nothing but get hammered on and tow way more weight than it should have been.

Welp pulled the trigger on the cluster, went with the navy Escalade with red needles, got tracking an hour after placing the order says it should be here next week.

Wheels and tires are finally in route to Mickey Thompson, apparently I’ve been playing the backorder game, Jegs tells me one thing, Mickey Thompson says something else, but finally confirmed today the wheels are in fact in route to Mickey Thompson and should be here soon....so tired of the wheel backorder ********. Seems like if you dont buy wheels that are in hand you end up waiting forever, is it that hard to know when your shit will show up and when I can have it shipped to me. Like damn how do wheel companies get this big and not understand how to manage when their products are instock or not. Just tell me its not in stock, tell me there is a P.O. for more to be manufactured, the due date for manufacturing is XX/XX, so if you order now they will not be able to ship them until XX/XX. And then let me decide if I want to wait or not. But no they just take your order tell you 2 weeks and then every 2 weeks from then on its just ooops our bad it will be 2 more weeks. Arrrrrghghghghghggg hahahahaha lol rant over.

Found a white HD hood 30miles from me $200 only has 2 very small rock dents in the middle section needs paint anyway So I am not worried about the small dents. Good deal or naw? They are hard to find around here.

Compared to what people want for the hoods, it's a pretty decent deal. I'd get it.

White and blue match...

I don’t think I could do it, maybe sand it down and hit it with some of the blue I have in spray cans or just remember that my paint gun is suppose to be shipping soon so I might be able to just paint it myself. I was planning on doing the mirrors, front and rear bumpers, and the grille this summer so why not add a hood to the mix. Also need to do mirrors, door handles, hood, bumper, fender, and front half of the roof on my fiancées Sonata.
