Today I did the rocker covers and running boards in Rustoleum Truck Bed Liner,.. Im still undecided if I like it or not,..its a alot more of a contrast compared to the factory faded grey they were before....but tends to match well with the upper black parts of the truck (window tint, moldings and trim.
On another note; Im experimenting with some 'ceramic coatings',.. the cheap stuff on ebay for $8,... so far im very impressed, it says that it repels dirt, water ect, so I did 2 wheels on the passenger side and left the drivers side without,... I will drive a week or so like that and see if theres a difference.

Definitely interested to know what the cheaper ceramic coat does. I want some but am not interested in the $100+ price tag. I already do paint sealant+wax and that’s pretty damn good

The english fella in this YT vid gives a pretty good in-site to cheap ceramic coatings, and after using it I agree with everything in this video EXCEPT,..... he said his did not 'firm up' or harden as it should,... well mine did,.. AND,... I felt that resistance he speaks of when buffing it out. I will leave an ebay link to the one I bought, and Im defiantly buying a couple more. I felt like it worked quite well. (look he's got me talking in english brogue now)

Finally got around to installing my corvette servo in the escalade. Only sat around in the garage for like a year.

Everyone should do this. Shifts are more positive, but not jarring. Trans temps stay a little lower and it reduces wear/increases service life thanks to less slipping

On the first site there is an option for an OD servo is that anything you need to add? In the past when I’ve seen this done it was just the Vette servo no mention of the other

Yeah... I've had mine for about a year or so, and an HD hood, and denali head lights, and Klearz. Man I need to get busy!

I didnt add it. Most people dont. From what ive read it isn't necessary unless you are hitting wot going into OD regularly,

Only took me 2 hours. I could probably do the next one in 30 mins. Its easy. Be careful with the e clip. Get everything seated all the way and in the right order. Thats pretty much it.

Took some fiddling to get the first spring to sit right and to get the cover to sit in all the way so i could get the big snap ring in place.
