The shop can fix the gouges no problem. It'll look brand new--if they know what they're doing. Easier to fix urethane then metal.

They look worse then they are the paint is just off to the bumper in those few spots not like a gouge really, gonna look mint when it's done

Got the Denali bumper finished and on. It has a couple imperfections, but for my first real full-on paint attempt, I'm quite pleased with how it came out. Now we see if it holds up...

Looks good, nice work nate.
weird how your plate looks like a kid crayoned it... how do the cops in Illinois run them? Must have that fancy camera system in their cruisers....

Recoated the leather drivers seat. Really just focused on the worst spots, Ill probably do another light coats over the whole seat. Not bad.

Just cleaning with a degreaser and prepping it made it look much better.

Scored this bumper cover along with the bumper support with the back up sensors and harness at the junkyard today has a few minor gouges and scratches going to bring it by the body shop Monday and hopefully drop it off

There's a small crack that looks like it was repaired at one point and it cracked again, on the driver side there is that mounting tab/screw that's broken, the step pads are shot and some other lil things way easier to fix up this one I got today then waste the time on the current one

I have a Performabuilt Level 3 "Invincible" 4l65e rated for 800 HP and an FTI billet triple disc with 2800 stall on the way. They'll be here Tuesday.

Yeah i remember eeing your post on the trans. Should be sweet! Who suggested the stall? Id have thought a bigger one.

Bigger as in higher stall? I was told by Vinci High Performance, who made my cam, to go 2500-2600 but others on performancetrucks.net and here suggested 2800. As far as strength, they don't get any better.

Yes higher rpm stall. I bet all the guys at pt.net were pushing for higher. Hah. If the cam guy suggests that then yeah makes sense.

I wouldn't go much higher for a street truck, just the way your going for it with the mods i sort of thought youd go for something gnarly. This is gonna be another big upgrade for you.

How does the bumper cover come off? I always thought it was 1 piece including the metal bumper underneath...someone hit the back of my Tahoe the other day and messed up the bumper pretty bad, I'm gonna try and swap it out with the Escalade bumper
