After its painted to match it would go with the look of your truck ! But please say away from that bumper !:2cents:
No he's on his own with the bumper. Although I have seen those painted and they look pretty good. But not the look I'm going for.

I just ordered some led high beams, unfortunately they don't offer the flexible braided cooling fins, so hopefully I won't have an issue with the install. I also ordered a wireless obd scan tool, along with the pigtail fix for the reduced engine power dilemma.

Did the old exercise the ISS thing. Simple job. Secure the steering wheel (I just used the seat belt), pull the 15 mm bolt between the intermediate and lower shafts (this was the hardest part simply because getting a ratchet on there is a pita), pushed /pulled the ISS about 100 times, bolted it back up.
Took a QUICK spin around the block, and the stupid clunk seems to be gone. Know for sure in the morning when I drive my normal route.

UPDATE: Drive to work was great. No more steering clunk! Yea!

Finally figured out the source of my frustration for the last week- the bank 2 upstream O2 sensor went bad at the same time as the heater hose broke at the firewall, causing a rich condition on that side, fouling the plugs and causing major misfires, all on the same day as I reinstalled the Whipple. I'm no longer freaking out lol.
