All, I am brand new to the forum after buying a 04 Tahoe LT in Blue. I am glad to see there is an active one for the Tahoe to occupy my time like my old Audiworld Forum did. I am looking for everyone's input on top 5 mods in each category. I will be posting this to the other categories as well!

So, help me fill this in and share with me yours.

TOP 5 Interior Mods (mine, in order)
1. IPOd Integration - is this possible with stock Bose Head unit? What kits are people using?
2. Stealth Subwoofer. Anyone rock an MTX Thunderform. I do not want to lose space.
3. ?
4. ?
5. ?

*thats all I have. I am not a DVD in Car kinda guy.

thanks
bobby

1. Rip out and throw away ALL the bose stuff..
2. Replace with a nice head unit and quality high end speakers and amps
3. Its a 300cubic foot vehichle.. get over it and do a real box.. its only gonna cost you 2 cubic feet.. because those lil stealth boxes do nothing..
4. Suede or Suede like headliner

would the suede be a DIY project or only someone with experience in that line of work?

i did my jags myself.. the 3 biggest issues..

DONT BREAK IT GETTING IT OUT...

after you peal off the stock one sweep as much of that orange crap up and out of it as possible.. THIS IS THE STUFF THAT WILL MAKE IT NOT STICK... so take your time.. (some people do the new one right over the top of the old one.. thats one you)

And... spray the suede... and the headliner.. and then let them both sit for a few mins till its dry and tacky to the touch..

and if i had to add in a 4th tip... its REALLY a two man job

(fyi ... there is a fake suede that looks JUST like the real stuff.. but is half as much.. and easier to install.. and will last longer.. i used it in the jag on like my glove box and center console.. and you cant tell the differnce)

ha ha, Overkill, and I like it.

Nice, I like the idea of a computer. I am holding out for the all in one iphone that I predict will replace a CPU in 5 years.

Nice work.

Oh word.. yea i had a sick laptop with a busted screen so i just set the laptop to never sleep unless it was closed and then modded the close button to run off the ignition.. we dont use it alot so i dont mind having to wait for it to wakeup.. its less than a min anyway... my only issue is if i dont drive the car at least every two days the laptop will go into low power hibernate.

Bromaguire, after all the mods, rewiring, painting, installing...

why is your radar detector still stuck to your windshield, and plugged into the cig lighter? Don't get me wrong, your truck is SICK. But even my grandfathers 98 buick has a hard wired R.D. Does it have something to do with state laws?
