Windows all the way down in rear doors?

My brother and his wife are into photography with nice but large cameras. Shooting from the rear seats of my '09 Tahoe is tough because the windows are in the way. It's a shame because here in East Tennessee there is much that can be seen from the roads. Are there any Tahoes of any year or any mods that get them down?

Sigh. I hadn't looked at the doors with that in mind, just thought about my brother coming down and asked.

Thanks. Anybody have the numbers in the next Powerball drawing they care to share with me?

my wife had the hardest time grasping the concept of this....

we bought a suburban next time, just for this reason (old cheap *** cars used to not roll down all the way, and it was the symbol of having a CHEAP car)

so now we have a suburban and "it's TOO BIG...I hate parking it"

forehead PALM.....the husband never wins.

I've had a few friends ask me about it, too. Took them a little bit for it to click with them haha.

Newer trucks have the half windows iirc. My mom used to have an old durango with the same thing. Window goes all the way down, but only the front 3/4. It's a catch 22 without full doors.

The frustration stems in part from the fact that my brother has a 2015 Chevrolet SS and his windows go all the way down. He just bought his wife a brand new 2016 Impala and those also go all the way down. How can they do this for a lowly car but not for these giant SUVs? Okay, maybe the SS can't be described as LOWLY.

Trust me, I know this frustration. One of the many reasons I went with a Denali XL instead of just a Denali. If I went with the latter, I'd have no space in the back, back windows only roll down halfway, a harsher ride, etc.

hey my parents had one of those!!
the rear hatch opens like a normal door right? and the window also rolls down I believe... and possibly the seats face the back.
I'd take over my truck, over haul it with a sleeper super charger.

Hate to break it to you but those rear windows aren't full roll downs on the second one. See the strip?

Opened two ways, like a door and dropped down, yes window into door
