Not sure if you'd like them but Crager Soft 8's look very similar to PPV's.Sandblasted and painted my PPV wheels, but I've decided to go with drop spindles and big brakes, both of which require 17" wheels, so these 16" 05-06 style won't work. So I'm in a quandary - I can keep the 17" aluminum GMC rims I'm running now (see pic above), maybe painted charcoal, or spring for some 2015 style 7-spoke PPV rims. Don't care for the 07-14 round hole style. Budget won't allow going any larger because I need to pay for the 3/5" drop kit and brakes. Any opinions?

I've heard Optima are crap nowadays, lots of trouble with them.
That's a pretty good price!I usually use Interstate but I got both of them for free
Reman cluster from rock auto would be cheaper than repairing your stock one if your not doing it yourself. I have $180 in my Esky cluster after my core was refunded.

So what do you think about adding the second battery to help with the truck?

Totally worth it. Do they program your mileage? and also, how do you make the trans temp gauge work>?OH wow. Platinum Esky cluster reman for $180... I like that. no LED's though huh?
I'm not a fan of itI really like that blue!

That's alot of laying downI just finished up a lot of maintenance that I've been putting off. Replaced my leaky oil pan gasket, and I went ahead and replaced the oil pump screen while I had the pan off. I ran a bottle of engine flush right before I dropped the pan, and it loosened up a LOT of crud. So much crud that I definitely wanted to replaced that pickup tube and screen, lol. Then I spent quite a few hours cleaning the oil pan out. I also replaced the universal joints and the rear diff fluid and gasket too. No more leaky diff gasket, and no more clicking U-joints.
And now today I went ahead and bought a new Duracell AGM Battery from Sam's club, because my existing battery was getting weak, AND it was almost 6 years old.
. But the piece of mind is priceless on that maintenance knowing that it's done
