I love the extra braking the 900 upgrade gave me. Nice work!
I had a horrible shimmy when slowing down for turns or stops after the tires and wheel spacers. The brakes took care of that, she comes to a solid stop now and the Jounce stops really helped with the nose diving.

Now granted, I might be a bit confused, but I was under the assumption that while a motor was running, the power for the car was provided by the alternator , and the battery acted like a capacitor to "smooth" out the electricity and make it safe for delicate components.

Agreed that batteries are fickle, but one would stand to reason that lessening the resistance from the alternator, to the battery, to the car would mean better power transfer, and less loss. Also SHOULD cause the battery to discharge less, since more of the alternator power would be getting through.

That being said, when I replace my battery (which happens about every 5 years) I buy the BIGGEST battery I can get, and get at least a 5 to 7 year warranty. Its worth it to spend 50-80 more dollars to save myself 200 later.

I've got the parts for the "big 3" on order, and plan to do it soon, if nothing else than to just make sure all my connections are good, and eliminate any power sapping corrosion.

I don't, however, know what the "big 5" is..

The Big 3 isn't going to hurt but it isn't going to help your discharge issue. It is good you fused the wire. Only idiots on car audio forums don't fuse to save money. The fuse protects the wire.

My suggestion would be to buy the largest deep discharge you can fit. Just make sure the CCA is high enough, which they should be if you get a monster DD. I've done this on other vehicles and never had a problem. Large DD are expensive and heavy for what it's worth.

Or, hook it up to a charger. :2cents:

Cut out the abs plastic trim piece I made for a few 52mm gauges and attempted to wrap it in carbon fiber...came out like shit, I bought a sheet 8'x6' so hopefully I'll get it right before it runs out lol

I still need to cut it out for 5 or 6 rocker switches as well

Lost my speedo stepper on the way home from work. Should make for an interesting week. I don't really care to keep my Bluetooth obdii adapter in and my phone on the whole drive. So now I've got a bum tach and speedo. Time to figure out who to send it to.

If you have a GPS that'll measure your speed for you.
