Small mod. Found this in an 05 Silverado. Had the same console as the one I swapped into replace my jump seat. This'll replace the rear radio controls that never worked anyway. Just a small cubby, but much more useful.

Not a thing but I did get this Big 3 kit delivered today and got one step closer to ordering my Whipple blower. Justin at BBP is trying to finalize a price for me. This 1/0 wire is huge.

I took the day off today to work on my work van, thing was missing like crazy. Anyway. once I was done with it I turned my attention to that dirty Hoe. Got a few things done today. First was the antenna delete. Put the Escalade cowl piece in. View attachment 74679Looks good. Second, put in my Escalade cluster. Buddy did it for free, can't beat that! Only thing annoying is the trip odometer doesn't work. View attachment 74680Tried changing the rear jounce stops. Look at the size difference! I think these are for lowered rides. So I didn't put them in. View attachment 74681Then had some extra time, so went to the muffler shop. Got the mbrp on. Hoe sounds RIDICULOUS!!! Sounds like a race car now. Little too loud, the video doesn't do it justice, but we'll see how it goes.

Love how the truck sounds, and about the non working odometer if you mean trip odometer mine didn't work either there's a choice on the DIC to set it up not sure if you have the controls on you wheel? I thought mine was broken too reset it when I got it never worked did a couple things under the DIC it works mint now if that's what's causing your issue

U should have got Tinned OFC wire so it doesn't corrod under the hood and tinned copper lugs for same reason... I use to use CCA wire like that and it would corrod after about a year.

Thx. I don't have any controls on the wheel. Hopefully something will"click"and it'll start to work. I do use it ocassionally.

Just ordered a MAX center engine cover. Haven't ordered the side pieces yet, but I thought I read something somewhere that the side covers needed a special clip or bolts to mount. Anybody got pics or parts #'s for mounting them properly.

Nothing fancy. Just need the bolts. The bottom two bolt to the valve cover and top one in the intake.

Yea I figured the top one just went on like the original, just wondered if there was a bracket that I needed to order, but I did see the bolts you speak of on a schematic of the engine equipped with them.

I have a 6.0 max Denali cover on my 5.3 . Bolts right up. No brackets . Mine came with screws.

Is it CCA or 100% copper? I spent about $20 on 10' of 1/0 100% copper welding cable (all black and used red cable lug covers on the hot sides) ~$10 on tubular cable lugs. ~$10 Marine grade dual walled adhesive shrink and ~$10 split loom. I also dropped ~$40 on a hydraulic crimper which is awesome. Makes the job so easy!

I don't see a fuse in the kit? Are you planning to run one?

I did a big three when I replaced my alternator, and swapped in a smaller pulley. If you've got some left over maybe do the big 4 or upgrade your starter wire. Started up quicker, and really helped with voltage drop on mine. Windows rolled up a bit faster too.

Honestly, I didn't NEED it since I ran a stock stereo and no aftermarket big draw electrical components, but I figured it was time to fix up the grounds since I could see lights dimming at times. It was less expensive than factory replacement cables, and a fun little project.

Also a complete waste of money since the damn thing got totalled out a month or so after that...

Ah it is CCA? Yeah that's why I didn't get a kit they all seemed to be cca.
