I hope u don't make your grill like that blue truck. Looks like it's missing its grill/front end.. your front end now looks 1000000% better then that blue truck.

Maybe if he goes a little thicker on the guage of the mesh it wouldn't look so transparent.
Not a fan of the led bar, but I respect anything that's custom fabricated, and give more respect for someone with the balls to hack a hd grille lol

Without the led bar for a different visual

What paint did you use for the engine pieces ? high temp ?
Also maybe paint the fuse box cover to even it out.
and I'm diggin the green and gold theme , hopefully more gold in the future
Not planning much more gold, if any for the future... And the paint was some that I had sitting around from when I sprayed the calipers. Still undecided what I want to do with the engine bay aside from a nice little snail sitting in there...

The visions I have in my head could be compared to sugar plum fairies dancing like they're at a rave with a DJ playing a Skrillex version of Metallica's Fade to Black on a glass stage built to hold 2 great white sharks trained to give high fives as Harambe weeps a single tear of joy and a Bald Eagle flies over carrying ol' red, white and blue in it's titanium talons.

Or it could be a complete flop. One of the two outcomes is very possible.

^^x2 Just IMHO, I think what you have going on needs no altering. It looks super tight as it is. Hood change could be good the HD front clip, but not really liking the big bass mouth mesh. I appreciate the custom effort for sure. Just my .02. :)

I like it.

I think it only works if you're pretty low, 22's or 24's and an overall street/performance truck theme. However, my thought has always been if you're gunna have a mesh grille you need something to look at behind it like a huge tranny cooler, intercooler, or a chrome/raw finish radiator with the brand painted on it or something like that.

Then again I have a billet grille and most think that fad ended when George Bush's presidency did.

You did mention a snail… Mesh grill would look pretty cool with a large intercooler behind it.

Love all the feedback... and to be honest, I'm on board with most in here as to the perceived outcome... it's very likely that I will not like it when it's done and I see it in person. It's happened before...

But I have to see it in person to know. It will be built. Then if I don't like it, it will be modified. Then if I still don't like it, it will be traded, which is unlikely because I'm stubborn as hell and will continue to modify it until I like it. lol

I see a sneek peek of the grille;)

I notice you have the bumper cap and middle piece molded together. I've only seen that once and it was on a nnbs silverado

You two are observant.

Going to move forward with the grille idea, and alter it if I hate it once built.

The front bumper, I don't want to run a cover but I still want something different. Saw this on a purple Tahoe and loved it... Also love the small details that no one else would notice...

Apparently some of us may notice ;)

Ive seen quite a few molded. But they always mold the valance too. I wanna mold mine, imo I don't like the 3 piece look of our bumpers, even when color matched . And not a fan of most covers out there either

Here's a local guys molding

Isn't that just a street scene bumper cover?
