Love that blue on yours , I hate my blue :nolol: (yea I said it @Fosscore )
@05Single

:lol::lol:

I love the blue on you guys trucks. I was really close to buying a darker blue one myself.

ok so I got pulled over last night for a tail light out. oddly enough it was in a parts store parking lot. I went in and bought some replacement bulbs and popped them in. it got me to thinking stock tails are kind of plain. what do you guys think about tinting the factory lights vs buying after market. I love the clean look of tinted tails. but I also like the LED options with after market assemblies. any one have any insight on this?

I really like the look of the updated LED tails and the brightness is so much better. I like the LED tails on my 06 much, much better. It just seems to flow nicely.

Just :2cents:.

yes that is the plus on the LED tails. I have a set in the Tahoe and I really like them. but all the after market lights are flat and I kinda like how the stock lights have the little bumps on them. just not sure what to do yet

I see what u mean.

Ask @05Single. He probably has some OEM tail light LED up his sleeve since it is coming on 24 hours of darkness in the Last Frontier.

That might be cool to see. An all LED OEM NBS tail light!

I was just gonna do led bulbs in my factory candy tails lol. I have lots of ideas but for now I like what I got. And if I get a bulb out I still have another 3 illuminated. You can always do my quad bulb mod with led bulbs.

I actually prefer the flat look of aftermarket. But stock with the bubbles do look really good smoked for some reason (on trucks and suvs), and I'm not a fan of smoked.

door lights. I had to slightly modify the housings so the leds would fit in the hole but after that they snapped right in

Looks good and makes all the difference. I did the same thing to my door lights to get that LED in there.

I have always hated how u can see the raw aluminum support behind the grill so I painted that while I was putting the new headlight housings in

Looks good. And yea why did you wait so long lol? easiest mod for any vehicle lol

Love the stock headlights with clear reflectors, wish they still made them for our trucks. I'm always looking for them.

I painted my rad crossmembers/ support beams black too, looks crappy and unfinished from the factory. little details like that add up to a perfect looking ride

yea thought about ordering a different style but decided just to do it lol
I did the same. Was an impulse while having generic leds that didn't fit. I typically hate cutting up OEM stuff but these aren't too bad. I have slim style leds now. I order 10 at a time so now I have tons of different styles laying around lol
Here you can see the difference. Some smd, some cob.

from the day I bout the truck form time to time I would hear this "buzzing" noise from time to time. I could never find what was making the noise. if I would have someone else in the truck they would just look at me like I was crazy if I said anything about it. well the other day I set down in the truck and tuned the key to the "on" position and low and behold I could hear the noise. with no motor noise it was easy pin point this SOB

It is a sensor for the auto heat and air. Has a small fan in it. Super easy to replace

Wow I was way off ! I thought it was a microphone for Bluetooth or something like that. Had no idea it had anything to do with the auto heat or that it had a fan in it. Thanks for the info. Now I can fix it.

No problem man. It was driving me crazy! Wish I would have changed it months ago. All you haft to do is drop the visor and the a pillar trim on the drivers side. The small grill is what holds the sensor in place. Pop it off with a panel tool and the sensor can come right out the side of the headliner. Go in reverse to put it back together. Whole process takes 10-15 min
