Correction, you're gonna stick with your 02' because you can't afford anything else lmao
If you wanted to look like an Escalade then you should have gotten one instead of a poor mans Yukon. Must be all you could afford.

I was messing with you hard feelings, I noticed they are dimmer than factory esky lights, I'll address the problem eventually when I feel like it, or care more lol

they do look good, i had them. two pairs, both sitting in my garage.
back to stock now.
not trying to be negative , just wanted to warn about the brightness of these aftermarket taillights on sunny days.
i had people on the road telling me they can not see my brake lights or turn signals when i brake.
what are forums for afterall.
no need to drag this any more than it should. if ppl are happy with them good for them man.
cheers

not my video but here is a members video with these taillights.
if you think these are bright enough than there is no problem having them on your car.

and i am moving on. no more comments from me under this topic.

I mean the briteness but I'm happy for the mod. Just the quality of light during the day is poor. But that's :2cents:

What I want to do one day when I have time is look at the harness and the lights inside the housing and see if there's anyway to make them brigher

It might not be drawing enough amps or watts

Sorry Beemdub to make your thread take off like this. It just annoys me that people on this forum are so negative. I get tired of people talking crap on others mods. People post pics because they are proud of their cars, not to get a safety lesson from some old man trying to play the concerned father. But what do you expect, this is their form of a soapbox. Keep moddin brother.

No problem bro, everyone's entitled to their own opinion lol it's just usually pretty pointless to show your dislike in a thread like this otherwise I could go through every thread on here and find something I don't like

Do we have any side by side pics of these compared to the factory esky lights during the day? I don't see how these would be that much lighter during the day than any other lights. I still drive around today seeing factory type lights barely visible given the time of day and position of the sun vs the car driving w/e direction at that given time. Yall say safety is a concern but it is really? How many of us really care about safety, honestly? lol its like fuel prices we all complain about it but at the end of day we all drive a V8 gas drinking beast of a *****. lol excuse my words.

Also not sure how these are lighted but if you can replace the bulbs unless LED then add some kind of boost to the amps/volts is the only way I could see making them brighter. but would require a lot of research and work. I would be happy with how they ride as is.

Like I said maybe the guys that said they did not seem as bright as the factory were right but I really cant see the aftermarket one being that much worse. Maybe they were just looking at them in the wrong lighting. Most times the aftermarket lights for any vehicle are brighter most due to they put the cheapest parts into them and no always caring about the quality of the actually lighting it self. If anything I would think I selling point would be to make them brighter than factory. idk maybe its one of those potato patoto things.
