I heard a lot of good things about those shocksJust ordered a full set if KYB's g- force for the Hoe. Handled like a drunken monkey!
What are the g force shocks? I can't seem to find them.Just ordered a full set if KYB's g- force for the Hoe. Handled like a drunken monkey!
I am interested, sent you a PM...is this the 3/5-6?Put on non-z71 rear springs. Now I need to find someone to buy Tony's Belltech front and rear kit from me. It'll make a great X-mas present!
Sorry, they're excel g. They might've been the g force and renamed. The info is on the site. I'll get the link. What are the g force shocks? I can't seem to find them.
I'd like to know what your suspension set up looks like, cause your truck sits almost exactly how I want mine to.
Bilstein 5100s all the way around
I might be forgetting something, I am not sure, I think all in including install I'm in it for 2.5k, but that is with a more or less complete rebuild of the Front end and half way with the rear. Rides smoothish, can't wait for the 5100s to break in a little more, if they don't I might switch to rancho or something a little more "Squishy" since this truck is my DD as well.
are you lowered?http://www.shockwarehouse.com/index.cfm?mode=results&selected_model=3855&selected_year=2003
It explains on the site somewhere what the shocks we're called before the name change, can't find it right now. I think the only real difference is now they're just painted black, which replicates an OEM look, which I like.
I put the 5100's on my truck just a month or two ago, in prep for a lift in the future, and because I wanted something to stiffen it up a bit. It was a little harsh for a while, but I like stiffer shocks, especially in such a heavy vehicle. Then I changed wheels and tires, and now it rides totally different. It's smooth and soft as can be, but feels stiff enough that it doesnt wander on the road.
I'm hoping that since I'm starting with the Z71 springs, it won't be hard for me to do most of the other stuff, although I may end up keeping the rake for when I haul/tow, so the car doesn't point skyward.
Thanks for the info!
It snowed then freezing rain was added on top today, and although the Denali will handle it fine I'm staying home since nobody around here knows how to drive in this. My Alaskan Husky loves it.

lolNo wonder she's your ex lol.I've got KYB's MonoMax shocks, love the firm ride! It doesn't wallow around like my ex-girlfriend sashaying through the kitchen looking for cake.
