Christmas Gift

I have to choose between two things for a christmas gift
1. window tint (should be like 5% or something) AND new tail lights

OR

2. Remote start

both should cost around $300 but I expect the remote start (with install and maybe some extra modules) to cost more.
also its really gettin cold here (it actually snowed last night) and the remote would be very nice to have but tails and tint are almost equally as good to me. but ill end up with all of it eventually so basically its which one do I want first?
also if this thread should be moved to the lounge then let it be.

well that was fast. haha. also, you make a very good point. remote start would be much more appreciated in the winter compared to tint and tails.

personally, i'd rather get TWO gifts than just one... and i live in colorado and couldn't careless about remote start.. lol so my vote is for tint/tails!

another valid point. but im leanin towards the remote start over the tint and tails cuz either way Im gunna end up with all of it and im more likely to buy the tint and tails myself cuz I can divide those up and not take such a large chunk out of my cash flow. but nonetheless a valid point. 2 gifts usually is better than one.

Its nice to have your vehicle toasty warm inside when its super cold outside...and its nice to have the AC blowing in the summer so its not baking when you get in durring the day

Window tint helps keep it a little bit cooler...but not like remote start...tails look good...but thats all they do

I voted tint and tails but that was out of me being used to AZ weather and not thinking remote start was that big of a deal. After reading through (which I did after voting) these are some valid points and I feel like it is a lot more worth getting.

im going to vote tint and remote start lol cus to me tint is a MUST! but so is having a alarm especially if you have aftermarket stereo (even more that they can see through the factory tint...)

no fair, if I lived in Florida I'd choose tint and tails too, where we get sheets of ice and snow, remote starts reign over anything past Oct.
