@Pachanga02

Good to see you back on. Been a while. You make it down to Florida this summer?
No not this summer, I'll see about going to in the winter. Haven't really done anything to her, only try to keep her clean. I've been busy working my side job which is a party rental business, pulling a 12' trailer. Still have spindles sitting in the garage along with my camber kit.

Tried to figure out the rattle/vibration sound I'm getting at around 1100-1300 rpm from my mbrp cat back, exhaust manifold->cat back flange bolts were in need of tightening, well....
It quieted it down a little but it's not gone, I'm going to get speed engineering LTs soon and a set of spun cats so maybe if it's all welded it won't vibrate/rattle anymore, idk.

On the bright side my 4.56 gears get here tomorrow, install and tune hopefully Saturday!

Changed my oil.

Also went to get my brake and light inspection for re-registration and I'm pissed because they can't sign off on it while the abs/parking brake light are on. They come on and stay on all the time and have been doing so for the last 75k miles. No one definitively knows why it seems and it doesnt effect the driving or braking and I have to get it fixed to get re-registered so I'm pissed about that.

I know that's a fairly common issue, and anyone ive talked to with a 01 or 02 or 03 with more than 150k has those lights come on for them too. Anyway, they need to do a full ABS system diagnostic and figure out what's causing it. Hopefully its just like a wheel spin sensor or something quick and cheap. Also got a new cargo hatch ordered in the same color.

What's a cargo hatch? Got a pic?

Just the trunk door. You know, the lift-gate?

The speed sensors are easy to inspect. Last ABS problem I had was metal shavings on the speed sensor which is a magnet.

Replaced the intermediate steering shaft and bearing. Fixed the clunking feel and noise. Tightened up the steering feel also. Not quite as easy as they make it seem with the power pedals but not too bad.....

Made an appointment to drop my truck off at the shop tomorrow in the AM to re-gear and tune.
Not excited about having to take it slow for 500mi though, but it'll be worth it in the end.

Keys, Z71 springs, spacers, and 5100's

I must have searched every lift thread on TYF, and that was the setup I kept coming back to.

I'd love to get a 6" kit, but I don't want to drop that kind of money, and I want to be able to fit in my garage still.

The best part is that the dealer just replaced the rear air shocks and compressor under warranty, so that will all go on Ebay and take a good chunk, if not all, of the cost of the lift.

If you're located in northern VA/DC you can cancel that order and come get one for free from me. I have the same color and just replaced my lift gate with another one cus I needed the glass. But if your glass is good You can take my lift gate. Its not 100% perfect but looks way better than that one
