Final update:

Slip joints are terrible, do not use them for exhaust. As soon as I went flange mounting all my problems disappeared. It was well worth spending the extra 200 bucks to get them welded on.

After Y going to muffler

If anyone goes to LT, deletes cats and does a custom exhaust you are going to need more than one muffler to quiet it down enough to be comfortable.

When I started this, if I knew then what I know now I would have saved about 800 bucks overall. Head my warning and dont make the same mistake I did.

Glad you found a shop that can actually weld and knows wtf they are doing.

Nice! but I really hope you thought about a flex joint.

Bruh, I run LT's, no cats, 3" pipe to a single muffler, dumped before axle. the tip is angled 45* out the side in front of rear tire.

Mines only alittle loud at start up, no drone or rasp, nada. just good clean sound.

What muffler did you use?

The end and final results are very nice.
Sucks you had to go through so much to get here but its definitely worth it.

Single slip joints are no good. Double slips are the way to go. http://www.burnsstainless.com/DSA-2.aspx

Ez,
Why is it such a secret about your muffler?
Having your exit pipe angled out the side instead of coming straight down drastically cuts down on drone.

Makes sense, something to keep in mind for next time.
