What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

No problem. Just an fyi but you may already know, dark paint is a pita(black especially ) and is more sensitive to wet sanding marks vs other colors.

If you do wet sand get a soft block or pad to wrap the paper around. Using just the paper folded can/will cause an uneven or deeper scratches.

Here's what we use, 3k grit 6" foam sand pad, 2nd link is the hand pad we hook it too.

Thanks tips on dark paint. Not sure if I will attempt, but good to get this detailed info.

Do you guys use the
Perfect It system 1-3 polishes and begin with the extra heavy duty or the lighter duty rubbing compound?

No we dont , Ill have to get the info on what we use in the am ill post the pics of it. We get stuff locally from an auto supplier.

We do have some 3m wax and leather conditioner which i use on my seats haha.

Not every car and every scratch gets that much attention and work though. It be a long day haha.

I used 2k on mine, but it's even more dangerous than 3k lol. Followed by the same steps obviously.
Wouldn't recommend either for beginners.

good luck did mine 2-3 months ago, came out real nice but some of the scratches reappeared later I worked them pretty hard too, this is a just a idea I haven't done it yet myself but some super fine sandpaper might do the trick and wax it up real good afterwards

I won't be wet sanding. Just claybar, compound, swirl remover, wax, sealer. I've see stuff go bad with wet sanding and this 11yr old paint still looks decent.

Yea wet sanding isnt always needed or recommended.
