Wow now that Nathan says it then it must be true!! I give up, BTW the Clarion works flawlessly...

I never said what you said wasn't true and I acknowledged it could be a possibility. But a second person confirming it helps too. I do appreciate the help and if you have other ideas on other possible issues shoot them to me.

Seriously though relays are cheap, both in price and quality, order 2 and go on with life.

2 relays bought. I will find out if that fixes my issue this afternoon after the bday party. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

It will be easier to install the relay with uncrossed fingers.

Well, there's only three wires coming off there. I've already redone the wire that goes into the parking brake wire. I'll redo the ground and blue wire tonight
