What are some decent starting performance mods to add a little bit more HP/TQ? I know that CAIs are kinda iffy when it comes to their actual performance benefits, and I know the go to is any sort of exhaust systems. Anything else?

An engine/transmission "tune" offers the most bang for your bucks. Go Black Bear. The exhaust and air filter mods allow the engine to produce more power, or as some would say, unleash its hidden power.

While CAI and aftermarket exhaust can yield performance gains on many vehicles vs stock, they won't do much for our trucks. Better to spend money on a Black Bear Performance tune.

Thank you, probably going to do the SLP resonate delete kit since it adds a little extra rumble and better appearance without making it too loud. Also is the Airraid MIT a good investment and is it 50 state legal because sadly being in NJ they harp on emissions during inspections.
