Paint Bowtie + Clear Corners

Painted my bowtie and got some clear corner lamps. Not too happy with how the bowtie turned out, I think because of the yellowish tint to the plastic the blue doesn't pop. I might just have to paint the outside of the bowtie...Anyway, let me know what you think!

Would powdercoat be my best bet?

You can spray it and build up a decent layer of powder then bake it, but since it's plastic, it has to be thermoset plastic to hold up to the heat to cure the powder.
You may want to check if some place locally can podwercoat it with uv curing powder. It cures by uv light rather than heat.
