I need some body work on my 03 Yukon XL Denali. There is a dent in the door from a Deville hitting me in a storm. Is it worth fixing or should I leave it? The first quote I got was $1500

Hummm -Why ask?
I would say, "Is it bothering you looking at it?"

If so, "Is it bothering you $1500 worth?"

Whoops - maybe one more question: Is it bothering your wife? If so, likely doesn't matter the cost - just saying.

As for me, any damage caused by a Deville, I always get fixed. Now the dents in the driver's door that show the exact dimensions of the suicidal white tail's antlers, don't bother me much.

That seems like a reasonable quote. That is gonna take some work to fix, but is worth the money.

I got another one for $1000 from a guy who only works seasonally and comes recommended. I'll let you all know. I hope to reach 450k on mine

I'd get it fixed, those sound like extremely reasonable quotes, especially if it damaged the rockers. If that's the pearl white, that stuff is damn near impossible to match, so I'm surprised people are willing to go through that kind of headache for that price. Are they going to try to save the cracked pieces with fiberglass or replace them all together?
